I recently found a bright and beautiful border print cotton at our local fabric shop. I immediately thought sundress, but changed my mind when examining all the plain white above the print. Ah, but a cute top, that would work!

Here's a slightly better look.
This top is basic, basic, basic. Essentially one big rectangle for the body and two narrow rectangles for the straps. I used elastic thread to create shirring for shape, and kept everything else simple to let the print shine. Even the hem is unfinished, since I think the frayed selvage suits the bohemian feel of the top. I originally did turn up the hem, but it looked better before I did that, so out came those stitches.
I'm a SAHM running after three young boys, and trying to fit sewing and other crafts into my hectic schedule of playing, cooking, laundry, shopping, alterations & other activities. 'Sew' many projects to tackle and so little time.
